The Charge comprises five (5) unique churches – Welch First United Methodist Church, Thorpe United Methodist Church, Boyd's Chapel United Methodist Church, Houston (Kimball) United Methodist Church, and Jenkinjones United Methodist Church. Our Charge offices are housed at First UMC - Welch.
We are available at the Welch office Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Although these are five individual churches, we come together to form the Welch United Methodist Charge, operating as one to further the work of God in our communities in McDowell County. We invite you to join us at one of our services or events.
